Product Description Idigbo is a stable, lightweight and durable hardwood often chosen as a cost‚ effective alternative to Oak. Its clean machining, smooth sanding characteristics and excellent finishing properties make it ideal for professional joinery, including doors, windows, frames, casings and interior furniture components. ‘Pinhole borer no defect’ is a common industry term or grading specification. The holes made by these insects (ambrosia beetles) are generally considered a blemish affecting appearance, but do not affect the structural integrity of the timber. This is allowed in the grade and can be quite common, although our stock looks pretty clear, the pin hole borer won’t be alive as is only survives in living trees, the kilning process would kill them off
