Pack Qty 30g. approx. 90 Seeds. Purple form of cropper Teepee. High yielding pencil podded cultivar with good flavour. Pods are held well above the foliage, facilitating easier harvesting. French beans dislike wind and cold and a sudden frost will kill them so grow in a warm and sunny sheltered spot and plant out in June. They grow best in a fertile soil with plenty of organic matter dug in, this should be neutral to slightly acidic with a pH of 5.5-7. Sow 5cm (2″) deep. Plant10cm (4″) apart. Space rows 45cm (18″) apart.
