Good quality flesh and thin skins. Courgettes require a sunny, sheltered site with fertile soil that has been enriched with organic material. Sow indoors at a minimum temperature of 20°C (68°F). Harden off and transplant from May. Sow 2.5cm (1″) deep. Sow/plant 90cm (36″) apart. Space rows 90cm (36″) apart.
